Application Deadline: June 30
Bootcamp Begins July 17
HanmiGlobal, the leading construction project management (PM) company in Korea, announced on June 11 that it is recruiting students for the fourth session of the 'GPMU (Global PM University) Bootcamp.' Applications will be accepted until June 30.
This training program is operated as part of the Ministry of Employment and Labor's digital industry job training project, 'K-Digital Training (KDT).' HanmiGlobal has been selected as a 'Leading Company Academy' for KDT and will be responsible for the training.
The bootcamp is a government-funded program aimed at nurturing practical talent in construction project management based on digital convergence. The program consists of more than 600 hours of face-to-face instruction, with 40 hours per week. The training will take place at Kolon Science Valley in Guro-gu, Seoul. The course runs from July 17 to November 7.
The tuition is fully covered by government funding, and participants will also receive a training incentive. Eligible applicants are those who can obtain a National Tomorrow Learning Card. Outstanding graduates will be granted an exemption from the document screening stage when applying for positions at HanmiGlobal.
The main curriculum is structured around 'Pre-construction (Pre-con),' a methodology that manages the entire planning process from the pre-design stage through procurement and ordering. This stage is highly significant, as more than 90% of a building's quality and cost are determined during this process.
The practical training includes Pre-con PM theory using digital tools, as well as hands-on experience with the latest projects such as high-tech factories and off-site construction (OSC). The instructors are current experts from HanmiGlobal.
The program is recruiting 36 participants. Applications can be submitted through the official 'GPMU Bootcamp' website.
