VivaTech, known as the “CES of Europe,” is a global exhibition that serves as a collaborative platform for promising startups, major corporations, and investors. Last year, it attracted approximately 165,000 visitors from 174 countries. This year, it will be held from June 11 to 14 at the Porte de Versailles exhibition center in Paris.

The Institute’s style-tech program is a support initiative that discovers and nurtures innovative startups by integrating Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies?such as artificial intelligence (AI)?into the fashion, beauty, and living industries. Since 2019, the program has supported a total of 132 companies, with a focus on technology innovation based on design and expanding opportunities for collaboration with large corporations.

Since 2023, the Institute has participated in VivaTech to support global expansion for startups, achieving tangible results such as collaborations with large and mid-sized European companies, business partnerships, and entry into distribution channels.

The eight startups participating this year (Lehosa, Mass Adoption, AIva, NXN Labs, Codemy, Christine Company, Clavata, and COG-Vtouch) plan to seek business opportunities on the global stage. This exhibition is organized in collaboration with five institutions, including the Korea International Trade Association, and a total of 26 Korean startups will participate.

Yoon Sangheum, President of the Korea Institute of Design Promotion, stated, “We will continue to support the global expansion of design-driven style-tech companies so that they can remain competitive in the global market.”
