On June 11, Sacheon City in South Gyeongsang Province announced that it will conduct road view photography of inhabited islands within its jurisdiction, including Sinsudo, Mado, Jeodo, Sindo, and Woldeungdo, in collaboration with Kakao Map.

This road view project will be carried out with a fully funded project budget. Due to the nature of island areas where access is restricted in emergencies, the project aims to build spatial information for disaster response, administration, and road name addresses, providing decision-supporting information in urgent situations.

Additionally, through this road view, Sacheon City aims to promote its beautiful inhabited islands nationwide and to boost tourism and local economic development.
