Held at KINTEX in Goyang for Four Days Starting June 10
Largest Event Ever... Distribution Buyer Consultations Also Scheduled

The Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy are hosting the "2025 Seoul International Food Industry Exhibition" (hereafter referred to as Seoul Food 2025) at KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi-do from June 10 to 13. This year’s event, the largest ever, brings together 1,639 food and distribution companies from 45 countries around the world, with a total of 3,033 booths.

According to KOTRA, Seoul Food 2025, now in its 43rd edition, is the largest food industry exhibition in Korea and one of the four major food exhibitions in Asia. The event has contributed to the innovative growth and global competitiveness of "K-Food." Food-related companies and organizations from Korea and around the world gather here to actively network and deepen their understanding of global food trends.

This year’s event supports networking and exchange to provide practical assistance to companies seeking to expand their domestic and international sales channels. Various programs have been prepared, including export consultations with domestic and international buyers.

The "Seoul Food Overseas Buyer Export Consultation," held over two days on June 10 and 11, invites buyers from 300 companies in 48 countries to hold export consultations with Korean food companies preparing to enter overseas markets. KOTRA expects approximately 4,500 consultation sessions with an estimated consultation amount of $250 million. The "Domestic Distribution Buyer Consultation" supports the expansion of domestic sales channels through consultations with distribution channels such as large supermarkets, department stores, and home shopping companies.

To facilitate the entry of overseas companies into the Korean market, a "Biz-Matching" program arranges one-on-one meetings with domestic buyers. In addition, the "Inter-Seller Business Consultation" enables participating food companies and food technology companies to promote their technologies and products to one another and obtain information on potential partnership opportunities.

At this year’s Seoul Food 2025, the 'LOVE FOOD' donation campaign will be held to support marginalized and vulnerable groups in the local community. In addition, the "9th Global Food Trend & Tech Conference" will host food tech experts from around the world. From June 10 to 12, the three-day conference will highlight paradigm shifts in food driven by food tech innovation as a solution to global food challenges in this era of uncertainty.

Kang Kyungseong, president of KOTRA, stated, "Seoul Food serves as a guide for K-Food exports and a marketing platform to achieve $20 billion in K-Food exports," adding, "We will continue to develop Seoul Food so that it becomes not only one of Asia’s four major food exhibitions, but also the world’s leading food exhibition and the premier export platform for K-Food."
