Kwon Ohkyung, Chairman of the Giduramie Cultural Welfare Foundation, stated, "The Giduramie Scholarship Program began with the conviction of our founder, Chairman Choi Jinmin, that 'at least a minimum level of education should be guaranteed equally to everyone.' He added, "We will continue to support the nurturing of talent in partnership with the local community, so that students who do not give up on their dreams despite difficult circumstances can fully realize their potential."
Jin Kyohun, Mayor of Gangseo-gu, said, "Education is not simply about imparting knowledge, but about drawing out students' potential," and added, "I hope this scholarship will help students take one step closer to their dreams."
