The Chungnam Provincial Office of Education announced on June 10 that it will launch and begin operating the AI-based 'Majoon Toktok' service for digital education innovation, starting June 11. This is the first such service among all city and provincial offices of education nationwide.
The 'Majoon Toktok' service introduces customized features, providing not only civil complaint and administrative support for general users, but also offering Naver's CLOVA X generative artificial intelligence (AI) to faculty and staff.
'Majoon Toktok' will help general users resolve questions about Chungnam education and handle various civil complaints. By enabling easy access to a range of educational administrative services, such as school information or education policies, through conversational AI, it is expected to offer practical convenience to parents and students.
In particular, more advanced features are available for faculty and staff. By utilizing Naver CLOVA X generative AI, the service supports efficient handling of tasks such as document creation, idea generation, and information searches. This is expected to significantly reduce the administrative burden on faculty and staff and create an environment where they can focus more on core educational activities.
To ensure stable operation of the 'Majoon Toktok' service, the provincial office will also hold a user participation launch event for about one month, from June 11 to July 10.
Anyone in the Chungnam educational community can participate in this launch event. Participants can submit suggestions regarding answer errors or system improvements found while using 'Majoon Toktok.' Among those who submit outstanding suggestions, 200 people will be selected to receive a gifticon worth 10,000 won.
To promote early stabilization and efficient operation of the 'Majoon Toktok' service, the provincial office plans to distribute home communication letters to parents and user guides to faculty and staff, providing instructions on how to use the service.
Kim Ji-cheol, Superintendent of Education, said, "With the launch of 'Majoon Toktok,' we will further enhance the level of administrative services in Chungnam education and provide a more convenient and efficient educational experience for all members of the educational community."
