Taean International Horticultural Healing Expo Committee Promotes Event at COEX in Seoul

The organizing committee of the 2026 Taean International Horticultural Healing Expo participated in the 11th World Botanic Gardens Congress held at COEX in Seoul on June 10, promoting the event to domestic and international experts.

The committee attended the congress, which is being held under the theme of healing and nature, in order to expand the intersection between global garden culture and plant education, and to strengthen the international status of the expo.

During the congress, which runs until June 13, the committee is operating a promotional exhibition booth from June 10 to 12 for three days, introducing the natural environment of the Taean region.

The committee plans to strengthen exchanges with the Botanic Gardens Conservation International (BGCI), the Korea National Arboretum, and key overseas botanical gardens, laying the groundwork for future international academic forums and global promotional cooperation.

Oh Jinggi, Secretary-General of the organizing committee, said, "This congress is an opportunity to directly showcase the unique value of the expo and the beautiful nature of Taean to domestic and international experts. We will continue to actively expand overseas promotions and strengthen global communication networks to ensure the success of the expo."

Meanwhile, the Taean International Horticultural Healing Expo will be held next year from April 25 to May 24 for one month under the theme "A Healthy Future of Horticulture and Healing Found in Nature." The expo is expected to attract 1.82 million visitors from 40 countries.
