Approximately 60 people attended the event, including the 'Super Rookies' selected for the support program and the 'Tech Mentors' responsible for technical competency training for each course. The event marked the official start of the program through introductions to the project and Tech Mentors, as well as networking activities.
The 'Super Testbed' is Art Korea Lab's flagship support program for art and technology convergence. It provides tailored technical education, one-on-one intensive mentoring, creative experiments integrating technology, prototype production, and both domestic and international distribution support for artists who are expanding and experimenting within the arts. The outcomes of this program will be presented to the public at the process sharing event 'Labdeuri' in early December.
Meanwhile, Art Korea Lab is a comprehensive support platform for artists and art companies, established by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Arts Management Support Center in October 2023. It broadly supports the entire cycle of convergence art activities, from art-tech-based creation and production experiments to demonstrations, distribution, entrepreneurship, and growth.
