This overhaul is centered on the goal of "an easier, more collaborative group account," focusing on improving the convenience of joining groups, strengthening joint management features for group accounts, and enhancing user experience (UX) and user interface (UI).

First, to improve the convenience of joining groups, the bank has added a feature that allows customers to convert their existing deposit and withdrawal accounts into group accounts. In addition, the process has been streamlined so that when opening a new group account via mobile banking, customers are automatically enrolled in the group management service without having to apply separately.

The joint management features for group accounts have also been significantly enhanced. Group organizers can now easily invite members through KakaoTalk, contacts, or invitation links, and invited members can join the group even if they do not have a BNK Busan Bank deposit and withdrawal account. Moreover, by selecting the recurring membership fee feature, the system automatically checks whether members have paid their dues, allowing organizers to easily identify any missed payments at a glance.

Lastly, to make the service even more user-friendly, the bank has revamped the screen layout (UI) and flow (UX), making it intuitive for anyone to use the group account service.

Ok Youngsoo, Head of the Non-face-to-face Customer Department at BNK Busan Bank, stated, "We hope that our group account service will further invigorate customer gatherings," adding, "We will continue to expand customer-centric digital financial services in the future."
