"Woori, Approving Excitement"... Seoul Metropolitan Council and Woori Bank Launch Matchmaking Event for Singles

Spreading a Marriage-Friendly Organizational Culture
"Woori, Approving Excitement" to Be Held on June 21

The Seoul Metropolitan Council and Woori Bank will jointly launch a unique matchmaking program to help single employees form new relationships. The two organizations plan to hold an exchange event on June 21 under the title "Woori, Approving Excitement."

This program, with the slogan "Heartbeat Agenda No. 1, Passed," is designed to provide opportunities for single employees?who find it difficult to meet new people due to their busy daily routines and work schedules?to interact with the opposite sex and to promote a marriage-friendly organizational culture.


A total of 20 participants, including 10 single female employees from the Seoul Metropolitan Council and 10 single male employees from Woori Bank, will take part in the event. The program includes team missions, a Cheonggyecheon date, group recreation activities, and one-on-one introductions. Participants will have the chance to interact naturally and form new connections.


Meanwhile, on June 9, the Seoul Metropolitan Council and Woori Bank signed a memorandum of understanding to continuously cooperate in spreading a marriage-friendly organizational culture. Choi Hojeong, Chairperson of the Seoul Metropolitan Council, and Cho Sehyung, Vice President of Woori Bank, signed the agreement, which outlines the two institutions' commitment to ongoing collaboration in this area.


Chairperson Choi Hojeong stated, "It is highly meaningful that a public institution and a financial institution are working together to address low marriage and birth rates. We will encourage natural interaction among employees and promote a positive perception of marriage not only in public institutions but also in private companies."


Vice President Cho Sehyung emphasized, "We have enhanced the quality of the program so that participants can experience more than just a simple meeting and have genuine opportunities for romantic relationships. Going forward, we will continue to support employees in planning stable futures through various forms of matchmaking programs."


The "Woori, Approving Excitement" program is a new initiative aimed at supporting employees in marriage and family formation, and at spreading a marriage-friendly organizational culture. There is also interest in the possibility of expanding this model to similar forms of cooperation in the future.
