Katis to Participate in Southeast Asia's Largest 'IndoDefence 2025'... "Targeting the Global Defense Market"

Katis is set to enter the global defense market with its PIDS (Perimeter Intrusion Detection System) platform.

On June 10, Katis announced that it will participate in the 'IndoDefence Expo & Forum 2025,' which will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia from June 11 to 14.

Katis plans to showcase its PIDS platform at the international defense exhibition and expand its global partnerships. The PIDS platform consists of the real-time monitoring and control software 'AxiCos' and the intelligent high-precision sensor 'IHS,' which is capable of acceleration, tilt detection, and motion detection. The platform features its proprietary 'Edge AI' technology embedded in the sensor to minimize false alarms.

The IHS sensor has demonstrated excellent detection performance by applying machine learning-based vibration frequency analysis technology to implement Edge AI. In comparative tests conducted at national facilities, the IHS from Katis recorded an accuracy 42 times higher than typical foreign PIDS products. In addition, it is a verified product developed through a national research project and has been certified as an innovative product by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.

Now in its 10th edition, IndoDefence 2025 is considered the largest exhibition in Southeast Asia, hosted by the Indonesian Ministry of Defense. More than 1,180 global defense companies from 55 countries, including major global players from the United States and T?rkiye, are expected to participate. The latest technologies and products in various fields such as Army, Navy, and Air Force defense technology, aerospace, maritime, and security will be unveiled.

A company representative stated, "The PIDS platform, which combines sophisticated sensing technology with AI-based alarm optimization, is a next-generation security platform applicable to various fields, including national defense, key national facilities, and industrial complex security. Starting with this exhibition, we plan to accelerate our entry into the global defense market."
