Achievement in Just Three Years of International Flights... Seventh in Korea
Yoo Myungsub: "A Milestone Toward Becoming a Global Airline"
Air Premia announced on the 10th that it officially joined the International Air Transport Association (IATA) as a full member on the 1st. It is the seventh Korean airline to do so.
This full membership was granted immediately after Air Premia obtained certification for the latest standard of the International Air Transport Association Operational Safety Audit (IOSA), the 'ISM 16th Edition.' It has been only three years since the airline began international operations in 2022. With this, Air Premia is now officially recognized as an airline that meets 915 international standards.
IATA is the leading organization in the global air transport industry, representing over 350 airlines from 120 countries. Full membership signifies that the airline meets global standards for safety, reliability, and operational capability.
With its IATA full membership, Air Premia plans to further elevate its international status and credibility, and to enhance its competitiveness by expanding strategic partnerships and collaborations with global airlines. The company is also actively considering joining various international memberships, including major global airline alliances, which is expected to accelerate the advancement of its services through a global network.
Yoo Myungsub, CEO of Air Premia, stated, "Becoming a full member of IATA is an important milestone for Air Premia as we strive to become a global airline," adding, "We are also considering joining global airline alliances in the future. We will provide even safer and more differentiated air services."
