"Fiery Spicy Flavor" Ottogi Launches "Ttaengcho Gimmari"

"Ttaengcho Gimmari" is a fried dish that pairs well with various Korean snack foods such as tteokbokki. Unlike existing gimmari products, it contains Cheongyang chili peppers to deliver a spicy flavor. It also uses domestically produced seaweed for a savory taste and Ottogi glass noodles for a chewy texture.

The cooking process is simple. It can be prepared in an air fryer at 180 degrees Celsius for 11 minutes. An Ottogi representative stated, "We developed this product with a distinctive spicy flavor, different from regular gimmari, in response to the growing preference for spicy foods among people in their 20s and 30s." The representative added, "We will continue to introduce a variety of Korean snack products that reflect consumers' tastes and lifestyles in the ready-to-eat food market."
