"We Are Back" BTS Members RM and V Discharged from Military on the 10th

RM (real name Kim Namjoon) and V (real name Kim Taehyung) of the group BTS are set to be discharged from the military.

According to their agency BigHit Music on the 10th, both RM and V are scheduled to complete their discharge procedures at their respective units and exit through the guardhouse on this day. The two enlisted as active-duty soldiers in the Army in December 2023, with RM serving in the 15th Division military band and V serving in the 2nd Corps military police special task force.

RM and V are expected to greet fans together in the Sinbuk-eup area of Chuncheon City, Gangwon Province, on the morning of the 10th. Reporters and ARMY (the name of BTS's fandom) gathered at the scene, with fans displaying large banners and bringing wrapped buses to celebrate their discharge.

Previously, Jin and J-Hope were discharged in June and October of last year, respectively. Jimin and Jungkook are scheduled to be discharged the following day, on the 11th. Suga is set to complete his service on the 21st of this month.

To commemorate the members' discharge, BTS's agency HYBE wrapped the outer wall of its Yongsan headquarters in Seoul with the official logos of BTS and ARMY, along with the phrase "WE ARE BACK" the previous day. This phrase will remain displayed until the 29th, in celebration of BTS's debut anniversary on June 13th.

Meanwhile, BTS will hold the "2025 BTS FESTA" at KINTEX in Goyang City, Gyeonggi Province, on June 13th and 14th.
