K Bank Launches All-in-One Tax Check and Payment Feature on App

K Bank has launched a new feature that allows users to check and pay their taxes through its application (app).

On June 10, K Bank announced that it has introduced various new features to its 'Pay Taxes/Bills' service, including the 'Find Taxes' function.

The newly added 'Find Taxes' feature automatically identifies and displays any taxes that need to be paid at a glance. Without entering any additional information, users can simply access the 'Pay Taxes/Bills' menu under the 'Transfer/Withdraw' section in the 'All' tab at the bottom of the K Bank app.

The service covers national taxes, customs duties, fines, local taxes, and non-tax revenues. If there are any outstanding taxes, they are immediately displayed in a top banner. For example, it may state, "You have 2 taxes to pay now, totaling 110,000 won (20,000 won in national taxes / 90,000 won in fines)." If there are no taxes to be paid, it will display, "There are currently no taxes to pay."

K Bank has also added various supplementary features along with the 'Find Taxes' function. Users can select whether to make joint payments for taxes such as inheritance tax, and they can register frequently used Giro numbers to verify their validity.

The 'Pay Taxes/Bills' service has been operated by K Bank since its launch in 2017. It allows users to check and pay national and local taxes such as corporate tax, comprehensive income tax, property tax, resident tax, and automobile tax, as well as police fines and utility bills for electricity, gas, and KT telecommunications via Giro. Approved by the Bank of Korea as a treasury fund receiving point, K Bank enables users to pay treasury funds from their K Bank account through various channels, including the K Bank app, the Korea Financial Telecommunications and Clearings Institute's Internet Giro, and CD/ATM.

A K Bank representative stated, "With just the K Bank app, customers can easily view and pay a variety of taxes and utility bills at a glance," adding, "We will continue our efforts to provide not only financial benefits but also various forms of support for customers in their daily lives."
