Hankook Tire's 'iON FlexClimate' Ranks First in Auto Bild's Electric Vehicle All-Season Tire Test
Demonstrates Outstanding Performance and Energy Efficiency, Surpassing Global Competitors
Hankook Tire & Technology (hereafter Hankook Tire) announced on June 10 that its electric vehicle dedicated all-weather (all-season all-terrain) tire, 'iON FlexClimate,' ranked first in the electric vehicle dedicated all-season tire test conducted by Germany's leading automotive magazine Auto Bild.
This test was conducted on electric vehicle dedicated all-season tires in the '245/45 R19' size from three global brands, including Hankook Tire. The tires were mounted on Hyundai Motor Company's electric sedan IONIQ 6 and were comprehensively tested across a total of 10 categories, including braking performance, steering performance, wear durability, noise, ride comfort, and energy efficiency, in various driving conditions such as wet roads, dry roads, snowy roads, and icy roads.

According to the evaluation results, Hankook Tire's 'iON FlexClimate' demonstrated stable driving performance and excellent energy efficiency in all tests. It received a 'Very Good' rating and took first place in the test.
In particular, the tire showed overwhelming superiority in six categories, including hydroplaning resistance, handling, braking performance, and rolling resistance, surpassing renowned brands such as Michelin and proving itself as the highest level of electric vehicle dedicated tire technology currently available. In its overall assessment, Auto Bild stated, "This tire supports the best driving experience with dynamic and well-balanced performance in any weather."
