Washer-Dryer Surpasses 10,000 Units Sold in May for the First Time
Sales of Samsung Electronics' "Big Three Appliances"?air conditioners, refrigerators, and washing machines?surged in the first half of the year. Samsung Electronics has announced its intention to solidify the formula that "AI appliances mean Samsung."
On June 10, Samsung Electronics reported that cumulative sales of its household stand and wall-mounted air conditioners from January to May this year increased by approximately 30% compared to the same period last year. In particular, average daily sales in May reached 10,000 units, which is one month earlier than last year. During the same period, cumulative sales of the Bespoke 4-Door Kitchen Fit refrigerator also rose by about 40%. In addition, sales of the "Bespoke AI Combo" washer-dryer, which combines a washing machine and dryer into a single unit, grew by more than 10%. In May alone, monthly sales surpassed 10,000 units for the first time since its launch, demonstrating its strong popularity.

Samsung Electronics is rapidly enhancing user experience by both strengthening the performance of its flagship AI appliances and introducing various AI features that make everyday life more convenient. In particular, personalized AI functions that learn users' daily patterns and operate accordingly have received a highly positive response.
For example, the 2025 AI air conditioner is equipped with the "AI Comfort" feature, which analyzes environmental information such as weather, temperature, and humidity to automatically adjust cooling modes.
The "Bespoke AI Hybrid Kitchen Fit Max" refrigerator supports the "AI Hybrid Cooling" feature, which uses semiconductor components to regulate internal temperature and keep food fresher for longer. The "AI Vision Inside" function, which automatically recognizes fresh food and even creates a list, is also receiving enthusiastic feedback.
The all-in-one washer-dryer "Bespoke AI Combo" enables easy control through a 7-inch "AI Home" touchscreen. Advanced Bixby integration allows for natural voice control as well. It is also equipped with the "AI Custom+" function, which detects the weight, level of soiling, and dryness of laundry to provide optimal care.
