The purpose of this agreement is to carry on the pioneering and enterprising spirit of the 'first generation of Korean global entrepreneurs' and to establish an educational foundation that provides youth with practical opportunities to experience entrepreneurship.

In particular, through cooperation with Jinju City, the Korea Youth Entrepreneurship Foundation, and the Jinju K-Entrepreneurship Foundation, the creation of an entrepreneurship education ecosystem that transcends regional boundaries is anticipated.

The main contents of the agreement include: ▲ exchange of infrastructure and human resources among institutions to foster entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial spirit ▲ joint development and utilization of entrepreneurship textbooks, content, and support programs ▲ operation of entrepreneurship experience programs and related curricula for youth.

Im Taehee, Superintendent of the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education, stated, "Entrepreneurship education for youth is essential at the national level, regardless of the size of the school they attend." He added, "In terms of life direction, education should foster an entrepreneurial mindset that enables students to try again even if they fail in their challenges, rather than simply following others."

He further emphasized, "I hope this agreement will serve as a foundation for students in Gyeonggi Province, who make up one-third of all students in Korea, to independently prepare for their own futures and, furthermore, to brighten the future of our country."

The Provincial Office of Education plans to continue developing a variety of entrepreneurship experience programs that foster creative problem-solving skills and a spirit of challenge through collaboration with external related organizations, and to further strengthen connections with school curricula.
