This training, which is a legally mandated program to prevent the four major types of violence?sexual harassment, prostitution, sexual violence, and domestic violence?was organized to enhance gender sensitivity among high-ranking public officials and to raise awareness of gender equality, thereby fostering a healthy organizational culture based on respect and consideration.

The session was led by Na Inhyeong, director of the Gwangju Women's Counseling Center 'Gam&Seong' and a professional instructor from the Korea Institute for Gender Equality Promotion and Education, under the theme 'Gender-Equal Hwasun County Council, Safe Local Community.'

The training focused on real-life cases of sexual harassment and sexual violence that could occur within organizations, and included in-depth discussions on various situations that public officials may encounter in the course of their duties, as well as effective response strategies.

Chairperson Oh Hyungyeol stated, "Violence prevention education is not just a formal obligation but an essential requirement for building a trustworthy public sector," and added, "We will continue to do our best to ensure that public officials develop the right awareness and attitudes to create an equal and healthy organizational culture."
