The KBS "Immortal Songs" Gyeongju APEC Summit Special Concert, hosted by North Gyeongsang Province and Gyeongju City and organized by the Gyeongbuk Culture Foundation, will be held in grand fashion at 6 p.m. on June 9 at the Gyeongju Bomun Tourist Complex (the helipad behind the Bodeok-dong Administrative Welfare Center).
This concert has been organized to generate nationwide interest and excitement ahead of the 2025 APEC Summit. It aims to widely promote the global reach of K-POP and the competitiveness of Korean popular culture both domestically and internationally.
In particular, this event will feature top-tier Korean artists representing K-POP, who will heat up the night in Gyeongju. Nine leading acts, including Psy, god, Ateez, Jeong Dongwon, and Hwasa, will deliver passionate performances, offering the audience unforgettable emotion and enjoyment.
This concert is scheduled to be broadcast nationwide on KBS2's "Immortal Songs" at 6:05 p.m. on June 21, and is expected to attract significant attention not only from domestic audiences but also from international Hallyu fans.
Kim Sangcheol, head of the APEC Preparation Support Team, stated, "Through this 'Immortal Songs' concert, we will once again highlight the limitless potential and appeal of K-POP and K-Culture." He added, "I hope this event will help establish Gyeongju as Korea's leading cultural festival city and further strengthen the global competitiveness of the entire Korean cultural industry."
