This market development delegation is scheduled to be dispatched to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and Istanbul, T?rkiye, from August 25 to 30. The participating companies will engage in customized one-on-one business meetings with local buyers. The buyers will be pre-arranged locally, and the face-to-face consultations are expected to lead to tangible export results.

In particular, this delegation has expanded in scale through joint operation with Yeoju City, and significant networking and synergy effects among participating companies are anticipated.

The recruitment targets are SMEs with their headquarters or factories located in Gwangju City, and approximately 10 companies will be selected. The selected companies will receive various benefits, including ▲ discovering local buyers ▲ arranging one-on-one consultations ▲ interpreter support ▲ and a 50% subsidy for airfare.

Companies wishing to participate can apply online through the Gyeonggi Business Secretary by June 13. For more details, inquiries can be made to the Export Marketing Team at the Gyeonggi Institute of Economic Science & Technology.

Mayor Bang Sehwan stated, "The Middle East has recently emerged as a rapidly growing consumer market, offering many opportunities for Korean companies," and added, "By expanding the scale of this delegation through cooperation with Yeoju City, I hope that more companies will find a breakthrough to enter the Middle East market."
