Registration is open from June 9 to June 18 on a first-come, first-served basis through the Guri City Lifelong Learning Center website and the integrated reservation portal. Eligible applicants are residents of Guri City who are registered with the city and are between the ages of 40 and 65.

Baek Kyunghyun, Mayor of Guri City, stated, "The Guri City Baby Boomer Happiness Campus is a project that supports middle-aged residents in preparing for the second act of their lives by providing high-quality, professional education in cooperation with universities. We hope this program will serve as a stepping stone for our citizens to pursue new dreams."

Meanwhile, the city was designated as a "Lifelong Learning City" by the Ministry of Education in August 2005, and as a "Lifelong Learning City for Persons with Disabilities" in March 2023. Guri City continues to support a variety of activities so that all citizens can enjoy lifelong learning.
