President Lee Jaemyung and Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba held their first telephone conversation on June 9, according to Kyodo News, which cited Japanese government officials.
After his inauguration, President Lee first spoke with U.S. President Donald Trump by phone, and then had his second telephone conversation with a foreign leader, Prime Minister Ishiba.
