Approximately 1,500 people, including elementary, middle, and high school students, parents, teachers, and citizens, participated in the event and experienced a variety of programs with books in the outdoor forest setting.

Participants completed reading missions under the theme "Preview of Reading on the Road," and had the opportunity to explore 10 different humanities reading experience courses in Busan and 50 recommended books. To encourage continued reading experiences at home after the event, a "Reading on the Road Marathon Completion Activity Map" was also provided.

The event was organized with the aim of expanding the culture of reading and strengthening reading motivation within the educational community, alongside the announcement of a reading newsletter publication.

On-site activities included a bubble performance and a classical music concert, followed by student-centered reading experience booths such as ▲drawing activities ▲programs utilizing discarded picture books. In addition, there were citizen participation activities such as ▲picture book readings ▲poetry recitations, as well as ▲an exhibition of books selected for One Book One Busan ▲a book rest area, and many other enriching programs.

Kim Seokjun, Superintendent of Busan Metropolitan Office of Education, said, "I hope this reading experience activity will serve as an opportunity to spread a culture of reading in daily life," adding, "We will continue to actively support a variety of programs to enhance students' humanities literacy and reading culture."
