President Lee's Close Aides from Gyeonggi Provincial Office 'Ahn Donggwang, Oh Sangsu, Yoon Junghoon' Head to Yongsan

Officials from Gyeonggi Province are being successively appointed to key positions in the administration of President Lee Jaemyung.

According to Gyeonggi Province and other sources on June 9, Deputy Director Ahn Donggwang and officials Oh Sangsu and Yoon Junghoon began their assignments at the Presidential Office starting on this day. Deputy Director Ahn Donggwang was appointed to the National Affairs Situation Room, Oh Sangsu to the Spokesperson's Office, and Yoon Junghoon to the Second Annex Office within the Presidential Office.

Gyeonggi Provincial Government

Ahn Donggwang, currently the Deputy Mayor of Gunpo, previously served as the Director of Policy Planning during the seventh popularly elected term of Governor Lee Jaemyung, where he led the province's core policy initiatives. He developed detailed blueprints for major policies such as the basic income project, which is considered a key initiative of President Lee Jaemyung, and as Director of the Agricultural and Marine Affairs Bureau, he helped realize the basic income for farmers.

Oh Sangsu has been a close aide to President Lee since his tenure as Mayor of Seongnam. After Lee was elected Governor, Oh moved to Gyeonggi Province and served as the head of the Media Administration Team in the Spokesperson's Office, overseeing all media-related affairs. In particular, Oh is regarded as a key figure in the province who understands President Lee's intentions. Prior to this appointment, he served as the head of the Media Team at the Gyeonggi Provincial Council.

Yoon Junghoon, who previously led the Lifelong Education Policy Team in Gyeonggi Province, has now moved to the Presidential Office. As a secretary overseeing provincial schedules and other matters, Yoon has closely assisted President Lee.
