This year’s festival, held under the slogan "Ungsang New Wind! A Fresh Breeze," established itself as a meaningful event where both citizens and visitors could enjoy a variety of programs that harmonized tradition and modernity.

On the first day, June 7, the festival opened with a vibrant Joseon Tongsinsa procession parade. A total of 16 teams and over 500 participants?including the Citizen Military Band, local folk troupes, artists, and ordinary citizens?vividly recreated the traditions and history of Ungsang, receiving an enthusiastic response from the audience.

This was followed by a line rocket performance and a Firebird performance, both symbolizing the sunrise over Cheonseongsan Mountain and wishing for Ungsang’s future. Celebratory performances by popular singers such as Son Bina, Eunice, Yoon Suhyeon, and Yang Jiweon further heightened the festive atmosphere.

On the second day, June 8, the "Ungsang New Wind Water Festa" was held, offering a modern reinterpretation of the legend of Ubulshinsa’s new wind. Special effects such as water cannons, water guns, and water bubbles provided cool fun and excitement for the audience. Performances by Chuu, Ulala Session, and DJ Kim Seongsu (Cool) brought the festival’s energy to a peak amid enthusiastic cheers.

In particular, the expanded water gun festival filled the baseball field area and was met with great enthusiasm from citizens. There were also a variety of hands-on programs for families, including a water dance challenge, bubble show, and bamboo water gun-making, adding to the enjoyment.

During the festival, a series of performances blending tradition and modernity continued, including the Ungsang Nongcheongjangwon Nori, a youth Korean traditional music concert, and the Yangsan Boys and Girls Choir. In the uniquely decorated art shade rest area, classical concerts provided a relaxing space for citizens weary from the summer heat.

At night, the illuminated lights along the Baekdonggyo riverside of the Hoeya River created a romantic atmosphere, establishing a new nightscape attraction that captivated citizens.

Mayor Nadongyeon stated, "This year’s Hoeyaje was a meaningful festival marking a new beginning for the Ungsang region. With the 30th anniversary of Yangsan’s elevation to city status and the 2026 Year of Visiting Yangsan approaching, we will use this festival as a starting point and do our utmost to welcome citizens and tourists next year with even more diverse and enriching programs."
