This year's competition is titled 'Youth Again! Senior Health Dance Competition Uniting Through Dance.' Fifteen teams, each consisting of 10 to 12 members, will participate, and including cheer squads, around 600 people are expected to attend. The participants have been practicing together to set music for two months, improving their flexibility and strength while also experiencing the joy of communication within the community.

On November 7 of last year, the '1st Senior Health Dance Competition' was successfully held with sponsorship from shoe manufacturer Bynair Co., Ltd. Following this event, the district and Bynair signed an ESG agreement. Bynair has continued its close partnership by donating health chairs and shoes to local senior centers and welfare facilities.

Prizes will be awarded as follows: 1st place will receive 1.5 million won, 2nd place 1 million won, 3rd place 500,000 won, and participation awards of 200,000 won each, with a total prize pool of 5.6 million won. A separate 'Cheer Award' will be given to the team demonstrating the most enthusiastic support. Refreshments will be provided for participants, and commemorative gifts will be prepared for all seniors, adding to the enjoyment of the event.

Bynair Co., Ltd., which is sponsoring the competition, has been leading social contribution activities to promote senior health since its founding in 1994. CEO Kim Wonkil has continuously supported programs that use songs he has written and composed, helping seniors engage in enjoyable activities.

Gangnam-gu Mayor Cho Sungmyung stated, "I hope that this competition, which received a passionate response last year, will once again provide new vitality to the daily lives of seniors. We will continue to spare no effort in offering various forms of support so that seniors can enjoy a healthy and happy later life."
