The Ombudsman of Yangsan City, Gyeongnam, held a promotional campaign on June 5, 2025, at the plaza of the Culture and Arts Center in front of Yangsan City Hall to raise awareness of the ombudsman system and promote the protection of citizens' rights and interests.
This campaign was organized to enhance citizens' understanding of the functions and roles of the ombudsman system and to strengthen accessibility as an institutional channel for resolving grievances and complaints.
At the event, ombudsmen and related public officials provided information and consultations about the system. Various activities were conducted, including the introduction of complaint cases, distribution of promotional leaflets about the system, and collection of citizens' opinions.
Han Sangcheol, the chief ombudsman of Yangsan City, stated, "We hope that this campaign will further increase citizens' interest in and understanding of the ombudsman system," adding, "We will continue to listen to citizens' voices and do our best to resolve their complaints."
