Day-Night Temperature Difference Exceeds 15 Degrees Celsius

On Saturday, the 7th, inland areas are expected to experience early summer weather as daytime temperatures rise above 30 degrees Celsius.


According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, tomorrow morning's lowest temperatures will range from 13 to 23 degrees Celsius, while daytime highs are expected to reach between 24 and 33 degrees Celsius. The temperature difference between day and night will widen to over 15 degrees Celsius, so extra care should be taken for health management.

While skies will be partly cloudy across the country, some areas in northern Gyeonggi and central and northern Gangwon are expected to receive about 5 mm of rain in the afternoon. In Seoul and Incheon, there may be places where less than 0.1 mm of raindrops fall in the afternoon. On Jeju Island, rain is forecast to begin late at night, with 5 to 10 mm expected over two days.


Fine dust concentrations will remain at 'good' to 'moderate' levels nationwide.


Strong winds are expected in the Yeongdong region of Gangwon, the northern East Coast of North Gyeongsang, and the northeastern mountainous areas of North Gyeongsang, so caution is advised for facility management and safety accidents.


Wave heights in the sea are expected to be 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the East and South Seas, and 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the West Sea. In the offshore areas (within about 200 km from the coastline), wave heights are expected to be 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the East and West Seas, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the South Sea.
