Honam University Holds Interim Presentation for Student-led Co-curricular Program 'Free Draw'

Honam University Holds Interim Presentation for Student-led Co-curricular Program 'Free Draw'

Honam University announced on June 6 that its Co-curricular Integrated Support Center recently held the interim presentation for the 5th cohort student-led co-curricular program, 'Free Draw,' for the 2025 academic year.

The interim presentation, held in the language lecture room of the Honam University Welfare Center, featured presentations by each participating team and feedback from the judges. Each team shared their achievements so far, the challenges they are currently facing, and their plans to address these issues, providing mutual motivation and insights.

'Free Draw' is a program inspired by the basketball term 'Free Throw,' and it signifies that students freely design and lead the program on their own initiative.

Through this interim presentation, the Free Draw program has laid the groundwork to move beyond a simple mid-term check and toward achieving a higher level of completion.

Im Sunyoung, the team leader of 'Friends Across the Street,' one of the participating teams in the 5th cohort of the Free Draw program and a student in the Department of Information and Communication Engineering, said, "Through this interim presentation, we were able to confirm whether we are heading in the right direction, and it was very helpful to organize the areas we had been struggling with. In particular, the consulting provided by the judges offered practical solutions to the difficulties we encountered during the process, which was a great help in establishing our future plans."
