The opening ceremony was attended by more than 200 people, including Mayor Baek Kyunghyun, distinguished guests, and citizens, who celebrated the launch of the province's first barrier-free integrated playground. The event included a pre-ceremony performance, introduction of guests, progress report, award presentations, commemorative speeches and congratulatory remarks, and an unveiling ceremony.

The Neulpureun Park barrier-free integrated playground covers an area of 10,000 square meters, with a total budget of 1 billion KRW, 30% of which was funded by the provincial government. Construction began in November last year and, after about half a year, was completed in April this year.

To create a safe and diverse play environment, Guri City reflected the opinions of actual users by holding meetings with children and guardians of children with disabilities during the design process, and incorporated expert feedback. The playground features swings, sound play equipment, a sand playground, trampolines, and rest areas, all designed with level-free structures and barrier-free access.

Additionally, to symbolize a space where the boundaries between children with and without disabilities are broken down and all children can play happily together, the playground was named 'Haengbok Pangpang Playground for All.'

Mayor Baek Kyunghyun stated, "The Neulpureun Park barrier-free playground will be an important space that improves social awareness of disabilities and guarantees the right to play for children with disabilities," and added, "We will do our utmost to manage facilities and improve landscapes so that all citizens can rest comfortably and safely in every park in Guri City."
