Gyeonggi Province Dispatches Investment Attraction Team to North America's Largest Tech Exhibition, Achieves $38.7 Million in Consultations

Gyeonggi Province dispatched an overseas investment attraction team to the largest technology exhibition in North America, 'Web Summit Vancouver 2025,' achieving investment consultation results worth 38.7 million dollars.

Web Summit Vancouver is the largest technology exhibition in North America, where global tech experts, companies, and investors gather to share the latest trends in the global technology industry and innovative technologies such as AI, blockchain, health tech, and smart cities, as well as to network.

This year, the event was held from May 27 to May 30 at the Vancouver Convention Centre in Canada. Gyeonggi Province set up investment consultation booths for six promising companies seeking overseas investment and supported their efforts to attract investment. As a result, the province achieved investment consultation results worth 38.7 million dollars (approximately 53.1 billion KRW) and signed a total of three memorandums of understanding (MOUs).

During the event, Gyeonggi Province hosted the Korea-Canada Tech Conference, promoting the investment environment of Gyeonggi Province to major investors (VCs) and accelerators (ACs) from Canada and the United States, and held investment pitch sessions (IR) for the six promising companies seeking overseas investment.
