Establishment of a Dedicated NC Mutual Cooperation Team
Promotion of Practical Consultations and Gathering of Opinions
Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam has established and will operate the NC Mutual Cooperation Team to strengthen communication and cooperation with the NC Dinos.
The city believes that smooth communication with the NC club is the starting point for solving issues. To this end, it plans to strengthen communication by forming a dedicated organization and to seek reasonable solutions that allow both the club and the local community to prosper together.
In particular, the city has taken the unusual step of creating this dedicated organization not under the Culture, Tourism and Sports Bureau, which is typically in charge of baseball teams, but as a new division-level department under the Planning and Coordination Office, which oversees city administration. This measure was taken because the requests from the NC club are linked to several departments, and the city aims to coordinate and resolve these matters more quickly.
The NC Mutual Cooperation Team will officially begin operations on June 9. It plans to conduct practical consultations on improving the stadium's facilities and accessibility, gather opinions from the city council and citizens, and review ways to revitalize baseball in connection with the local economy.
Jang Geumyong, Acting Mayor of Changwon Special City, emphasized, "Through the establishment of the NC Mutual Cooperation Team, we will actively communicate and strengthen cooperation with the club, and will continue to make efforts to improve the environment of the baseball stadium."
