Gyeongsan City in North Gyeongsang Province will be recruiting businesses to participate in the "K-Dining Industry Infrastructure Support Project" through the Gyeongbuk Economic Promotion Agency from June 5 to June 30, in order to respond to the rapidly changing dining environment and to ease management burdens.
This support project targets local food service establishments and consists of three areas: digital transformation through the introduction of smart devices (such as serving robots), optimization of kitchen workflows, and the establishment and implementation of online marketing strategies.
The purpose of the project is to help dining establishments enhance their competitiveness and overcome management crises by promoting digitalization, efficient store operations, and strengthening marketing capabilities.
Dining businesses wishing to participate can refer to the "Support Project Information" announcement on the Gyeongbuk Economic Promotion Agency website, prepare the application and related documents, and submit them accordingly.
Selected businesses will be finalized through document screening and evaluation by a review committee, and tailored support will be provided for each area.
Ahn Byungsuk, Director of the Public Health Center, stated, "Through this project, I hope many dining establishments will be able to actively respond to new dining trends and experience tangible management improvements," and added, "We will continue to provide various forms of support to strengthen the competitiveness and sustainable development of the local dining industry."
