During the event period, a total of around 50 different pop-up stores will open sequentially at Hyundai Department Store locations nationwide. Notably, at The Hyundai Seoul's basement level 2, a pop-up store celebrating the album release of the popular JYP Entertainment girl group ITZY will be held from June 10 to 17.
At the Sinchon branch, a pop-up store for LA POEM, the winning team from Phantom Singer Season 3, will be operated starting June 10. From June 12 to 18, a pop-up store for the travel variety show "Jigumarble" will be held, featuring displays of travel props from the show, participant concept photo zones, and program-related merchandise, all designed to recreate the atmosphere of the broadcast.
There will also be experiential pop-up stores. At the Pangyo branch, from June 6 to 19, a pop-up store for the camping specialist brand Urbanside will be operated, where visitors can try out large air tents, camping gear, and functional outdoor apparel on-site. The Trade Center branch will operate a traditional craft experiential pop-up in collaboration with Mokdangak, a handcrafted tile and mother-of-pearl brand, until June 12. Visitors can make crafts themselves or watch the production process on-site. At the Cheonho branch, from June 13 to 26, a pop-up store for Beongaepyo, a domestic lighting brand with a 90-year tradition, will be held, featuring a general electric goods store concept.
During this pop-up festival, summer new product promotions from over 250 brands in fashion, beauty, living, and accessories will also be held. With the early onset of hot weather accelerating summer shopping demand, the strategy is to introduce a wide range of seasonal items in advance and broaden customer choices. During the event, Hyundai Department Store will run promotions including: prize events through the Hyundai Department Store app, up to 10% rewards based on purchase amounts, and exclusive pop-up store merchandise.
A Hyundai Department Store representative said, "We planned this event to deliver new fun and experiences to customers through differentiated content that combines shopping and culture ahead of the summer season," adding, "We will continue to expand the range of experiences customers can enjoy at our department stores by collaborating with various brands and content providers."
