Kyungdong Navien Establishes Subsidiary "Kyungdong C&S" to Strengthen Subscription Services

Expansion of Subscription Product Lineup in Response to Growing Demand

Kyungdong Navien announced on June 5 that it will separate its subscription business division to establish a subsidiary named Kyungdong C&S.

The "C&S" in Kyungdong C&S stands for "Care" and "Solution," reflecting the company's intention to expand subscription offerings to a wide range of products in response to growing consumer demand for subscriptions, and to provide optimal, specialized services tailored to these needs.

Kyungdong C&S will be exclusively responsible for the professional and systematic management of Kyungdong Navien's subscription products. In October 2023, Kyungdong Navien launched a rental care service for its ventilation air purifiers, and in April of this year, it introduced both a "3D Air Hood" subscription service and a "Ventilation Air Purifier Magic Plus" subscription service, which combines the two products. The company is also preparing subscription offerings for upcoming products, such as the "Dehumidification Ventilation Air Purifier," which features both ventilation purification and dehumidification functions, in addition to its existing main products like boilers and sleep mats.

Kyungdong Navien plans to provide even more systematic services through Kyungdong C&S, its specialized subscription service company. The introduction and management of Kyungdong Navien's subscription products will be handled by "Navien Partners," a team of specialized personnel. Navien Partners are responsible for ensuring that customers can use their products in optimal condition by handling filter replacements, exterior cleaning, and regular performance inspections. They also play a role in proposing the most suitable products for each customer.

The first CEO of Kyungdong C&S is Kim Yongbeom, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Kyungdong Navien. Kim Yongbeom stated, "Through Kyungdong C&S, our specialized subscription subsidiary, we will provide new solutions that create a comfortable living environment, including indoor temperature and humidity control, air quality, sleep environment, and kitchen systems."
