Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on June 4 (local time) that he congratulates President Lee Jaemyung on his election victory.

On this day, President Zelensky wrote on X (formerly Twitter), "Ukraine cherishes its friendly relations with the people of Korea and the unwavering support of the Republic of Korea."

He added, "I wish you success and look forward to close cooperation to promote peace and prosperity for both countries."

He also stated, "Global security, including Europe and the Indo-Pacific, is deeply interconnected," and emphasized, "We must unite to build a solid foundation for the security of our peoples."
