This program targets individuals, corporations, and organizations that have been registered residents of Namyangju City for at least one month. It is being launched as an additional allocation following the first half of the year’s program, with the aim of providing subsidy benefits to a greater number of citizens.

The program will support the distribution of 1,311 electric passenger cars and 329 electric cargo trucks. The subsidy amount will be up to 9.33 million KRW for electric passenger cars and up to 20.5 million KRW for electric cargo trucks.

Applicants must sign a purchase contract for an electric vehicle through an authorized dealership and submit the required application documents to the dealership. The dealership will then enter the application information into the Zero-Emission Vehicle Integrated Portal, completing the application process. Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until the allocated budget is exhausted.

A Namyangju City official stated, "We plan to support citizens so they can more easily purchase eco-friendly vehicles through the electric vehicle purchase subsidy program," adding, "We expect this initiative to make a tangible contribution to improving air quality and responding to the climate crisis."
