'HeoteunSori' is one of the performances presented by Buan County after being selected for the 2025 Performing Arts Regional Distribution Support Project by the Arts Management Support Center, securing a total of approximately 158 million won in funding. The performance is hosted by the Arts Management Support Center, sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and organized by Buan County and the Norumachi Arts Group.

With its selection for this project, the Buan Arts Center planned this performance with the goal of providing high-quality performing arts to local residents and revitalizing performing arts within the region. The center also plans to continue presenting a diverse range of pure performing arts and cultural content in the future.

This performance is a fusion gugak concert that combines traditional percussion, gayageum, piri, taepyeongso, and more, reinterpreting the beauty of Korean traditional music in a modern way to create a stage that people of all ages can easily enjoy.

The Norumachi Arts Group aims to preserve the traditional framework of Korean music through its unique musical idioms (such as seongeum, sigimsae, and breathing techniques), while also making Korean music more accessible to contemporary audiences.

In particular, this performance will feature a variety of Norumachi’s unique repertoire, including 'HeoteunSori II,' which embodies urban gugak by merging EDM sounds from the city with traditional music, thereby engaging and moving the audience.

A county official said, "We hope this performance will allow audiences to enjoy the unique charm of contemporary traditional music and provide a healing experience amid the continuous tension of urban life."

Meanwhile, all seats for this performance are priced at 10,000 won, but Buan County residents receive a 90% discount, making the ticket price 1,000 won. Tickets can be reserved on-site or through Ticket Link.
