Gyeonggi-do Sports for the Disabled Festival: September 12-13
Gyeonggi-do Sports for All Festival: September 26-28
Paju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Kyoungil), announced on June 4 that it has installed a 'Countdown Notification Board' and is holding a '30-second Video Support Comment Event' with citizen participation as part of the D-100 commemorative event for the successful hosting of the 'Gyeonggi-do Sports for All Festival 2025 Paju'.
The notification boards have been installed at three major hubs with high foot traffic: GTX Unjeongjungang Station, Paju City Hall Civil Service Office, and Paju Stadium. They serve as symbolic installations to promote the '19th Gyeonggi-do Sports for the Disabled Festival' and the '36th Gyeonggi-do Sports for All Festival', both scheduled to be held in September.
The '30-second Video Support Comment Event' involves releasing the official promotional video for the festival on the Paju City Hall YouTube channel. From June 4 to June 13, 100 participants who leave a supportive message in the comments will be selected by lottery to receive a mobile coffee voucher.
The official website for the 'Gyeonggi-do Sports for All Festival 2025 Paju' will offer integrated information, including an introduction to the festival, game guides, and tourism information.
Lee Eunsook, Head of the Sports Division, stated, "With 100 days remaining until the Gyeonggi-do Sports for All Festival, we have organized this event to gather citizens' expectations and support." She added, "We will accelerate our preparations to ensure that this festival becomes a place of unity enjoyed by all 14 million residents of Gyeonggi Province, leaving no gaps in our readiness."
The '19th Gyeonggi-do Sports for the Disabled Festival' hosted by Paju City will be held over two days from September 12 to 13, while the '36th Gyeonggi-do Sports for All Festival' will take place over three days from September 26 to 28 across various locations in Paju City.
