Environmental Photo Exhibition and Hands-on Education Programs
Both On-site and Online Events
The National Gwangju Science Museum announced on June 4 that it will host a variety of on-site events and online activities to mark World Environment Day on June 5.
The museum has set this year’s theme as “A Step for the Earth, Together with Science.” It will offer a range of hands-on activities, including an “Environmental Photo Exhibition” featuring images of abnormal weather, S.O.S. environmental commentary, screenings of environmental animation films, a fan-making activity to show love for the environment, and a special education program on global ecological journeys.
In addition, online activities will include the distribution of “World Environment Day Card News” and an interactive event where individuals can share their personal environmental protection practices in the comments section. Participants in the event will receive commemorative gifts.
On June 5, visitors who bring in 10 or more used batteries will receive free admission to the special space science exhibition “Worlds Beyond Earth.” More details are available on the museum’s website.
