Through this contest, Gapyeong County plans to gather a wide range of opinions on the county's future vision and policy direction. The goal is to incorporate experts' creative ideas into county administration, strengthen the county's identity as a border area, and establish sustainable development strategies.

The contest is divided into two categories: vision/slogan and policy proposals. The vision/slogan category seeks creative phrases that express Gapyeong County's future outlook and border area identity. The policy proposal category accepts feasible and differentiated policy ideas for Gapyeong County's development in the following areas: culture and tourism, living SOC (social overhead capital), balanced development, and inter-Korean or neighboring city/county cooperation.

Anyone wishing to participate can submit their entries via email (csm@glbp.kr) by July 4. Applications must be prepared using the designated forms for each category. Each individual may submit one entry for the vision/slogan category and up to two entries for the policy proposal category. Submitted proposals will be reviewed, and the results will be individually notified and announced on the Gapyeong County website on July 11.

Outstanding proposals will be awarded prize money and may also be practically reflected in future county administration. For the vision/slogan category, the top prize (one person) is 300,000 KRW, the excellence prize (two people) is 200,000 KRW each, and the encouragement prize (two people) is 100,000 KRW each.
