Kim Cheolju, chairman of the Life Insurance Association, joined the campaign after being nominated by Yeo Seungjoo, vice chairman of Hanwha Life. Chairman Kim currently serves as co-chairman of the Life Insurance Social Contribution Committee, actively responding to population issues by promoting a culture of respect for life and supporting efforts to overcome aging.

Key initiatives include support for fetal health checkups, operation of centers for rare diseases, operation of the Saengmyeongsup 100-Year Healing Center, and providing medical expenses for low-income seniors. With this campaign participation as an opportunity, the association plans to seek various ways in which the insurance industry can help address the issues of low birth rates and aging, and to take the lead in building national consensus.

Chairman Kim stated, "The population issue is a critical challenge that is directly linked not only to our society but also to the sustainability of the life insurance industry. As a reliable pillar that supports people's lives, life insurance will continue to faithfully fulfill its role as a social safety net and will actively work to foster a social culture where childbirth, parenting, and the value of family are cherished."

Meanwhile, Chairman Kim nominated the Korea Insurance Research Institute (President Ahn Cheolkyung) and Samsung Life Insurance (CEO and President Hong Wonhak) as the next participants in the campaign.
