BPA Rowing Team Wins Overall Championship at the 51st Jangbogo National Rowing Competition

Competed in Five Events, Won Two Silver and One Bronze Medal in Three Events
Medaled in All Three Competitions Entered This Year, Including the National Rowing Championships in April

Busan Port Authority (BPA, President Song Sangkeun) announced that the BPA rowing team won a total of three medals and secured the overall championship based on final scores at the 51st Jangbogo National Rowing Competition, which was held at the Seonakdong River Rowing Stadium in Busan from May 31 to June 2, 2025.

In the quadruple sculls event, BPA rowers Cho Sunhyeong, Kim Hayoung, Choi Sujin, and Choi Seohyun won silver medals. Among them, Cho Sunhyeong and Kim Hayoung also took silver medals in the coxless pair event.

In the lightweight double sculls event, Choi Sujin and Lee Sumin earned bronze medals.

The BPA rowing team scored a total of 32 points, clinching the overall championship among 12 women's college and general division teams participating in this year's Jangbogo Cup.

BPA rowing team coach Lee Hyungki said, "The athletes' dedication to enduring tough training was a major factor in winning medals at all three competitions we entered this year, including this overall championship," adding, "We will continue to do our best, balancing proper training and rest in future competitions, so that this record remains unbroken."
