Introduces AlphaKey in Preparation for ISMS-P Certification
Applies Quantum-Resistant Cryptography (PQC)-Based Authentication System
On June 4, LG Uplus announced that it has supplied its quantum-resistant cryptography (PQC)-based authentication solution, AlphaKey, to the customer management solution 'Re:catch' of Business Canvas, a business-to-business (B2B) software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider.
Business Canvas is a cloud-based company that helps B2B businesses improve sales and marketing efficiency, providing its customer relationship management (CRM) solution, Re:catch, to approximately 300 client companies.
Business Canvas is preparing for certification under the Information Security Management System-Personal Information and Privacy (ISMS-P) framework, and has adopted AlphaKey to strengthen 'account and access control management,' which is a core requirement for certification.
AlphaKey is a PQC-based solution that provides a secure authentication system even in quantum computing environments, offering enhanced technical reliability and stability compared to conventional authentication methods.
Business Canvas expects that introducing AlphaKey will not only advance its account management system but also help meet the authentication requirements necessary for ISMS-P certification and strengthen its internal security standards.
Companies that have adopted AlphaKey can establish sophisticated quantum security systems. Security systems utilizing PQC technology are said to be more resistant to hacking than traditional encryption methods, and can further minimize security risks across various SaaS environments.
LG Uplus is working to obtain Cloud Security Assurance Program (CSAP) certification so that more corporate customers can utilize AlphaKey. Through this, the company aims to expand its technological leadership in the enterprise security market.
