Active Business Matching Expected Again This Year
Korea Expressway Corporation announced on the 3rd that the "2025 1st Small and Medium Business Technology Market Purchase Consultation" was successfully held on the 29th of last month at KINTEX in Ilsan, Goyang, Gyeonggi Province to promote the activation of technology purchases from small and medium-sized enterprises.

This consultation event was organized to encourage public institutions to make practical purchases of excellent technologies and products owned by small and medium-sized enterprises.
The event operated by matching public institutions with small and medium-sized enterprises that had applied for consultations on a one-on-one basis. On the day of the event, more than 500 people attended, including representatives from 177 small and medium-sized enterprises and 83 public institutions, resulting in a total of over 700 purchase consultations.
Korea Expressway Corporation regularly holds the Small and Medium Business Technology Market Purchase Consultation three times a year. This year, additional consultations are scheduled for September and December. Last year, three such events were also held, resulting in purchase contracts worth a total of 27 billion KRW between small and medium-sized enterprises and public institutions.
The "Small and Medium Business Technology Market," overseen and operated by Korea Expressway Corporation under the supervision of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, is an online platform where public institutions can directly verify and purchase technologies from small and medium-sized enterprises. To date, 2,674 outstanding technologies and products have been registered on the platform.
Meanwhile, since its launch in 2019, the platform has recorded a cumulative purchase amount of 1.1225 trillion KRW. Currently, 108 public institutions are participating in this platform.
A representative from Korea Expressway Corporation stated, "This consultation event provides practical support to small and medium-sized enterprises that possess technological capabilities but face difficulties in finding new markets," and added, "We will continue to develop various market support measures to promote the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises and activate joint purchasing."
