On the afternoon of the same day, through a post on social networking service (SNS) Facebook, Lee emphasized, "There are six hours left in the golden time to save the Republic of Korea, which has fallen into crisis due to the greed of vested interests."
Lee stated, "The true owners of the history of the Republic of Korea are its people," adding, "Even during the IMF crisis, when it seemed everything had collapsed and would never rise again, the people of Korea overcame it by bringing out their gold rings and jewelry, and they also defeated the darkness of government corruption with candlelight."
He continued, "The timing of the people has always been precise, and their choices have always been right," urging, "Once again, I earnestly ask the people to step forward for the Republic of Korea."
He reiterated his appeal, saying, "Only your vote can save the Republic of Korea," and asked, "Please vote with your sovereign hands for a robust democracy, the recovery of people's livelihoods, and economic growth."
Lee added, "For the future of our children and youth, and for a healthy old age for our seniors, things will change if you make a choice," and called, "Let us unite our voices as one in the name of the Republic of Korea, transcending regions, generations, and gender through voting."
He also said, "Your steps toward the polling stations with your family and acquaintances are the power that will move the Republic of Korea forward," promising, "With your choice, I will make sure to realize a proud Republic of Korea where the people are happy and the world looks on with envy, and I will repay you for it."
In another Facebook post uploaded earlier, Lee referred to the rally held in Yeouido, Seoul last year calling for the impeachment of former President Yoon Suk Yeol, saying, "I was moved by the sight of the endless crowd and the waves of colorful lights," and wrote, "Six months after that day, today, I will surely win."
Lee declared, "This is not the victory of Lee Jae Myung as an individual, but the victory of the people who wish for an end to rebellion, the restoration of livelihoods, the victory of common sense, the victory of justice, and the victory of democracy. Let us meet again at this time tomorrow in a new country, in the true Republic of Korea."
