The 4th Robot-Assisted Joint Surgery Symposium, hosted by the Korean Society of Orthopedic Computer Surgery (President: Lee Wooseok) and organized by Bumin Hospital (Chairman: Chung Heungtae), was held on May 31, 2025, at the Halla Hall of Dragon City Hotel in Yongsan, Seoul.
Attended by more than 300 participants both online and offline, the symposium brought together domestic and international experts in orthopedics and robotic surgery to share the latest technologies and clinical experiences in the field of robot-assisted joint surgery.
The event consisted of five sessions and a total of 19 lectures, covering topics such as advancements in robotic surgery systems and technology, live surgery of total hip replacement, robotic partial joint replacement, various clinical cases of hip surgery, and patient-specific knee surgery strategies.
Lee Wooseok, President of the Korean Society of Orthopedic Computer Surgery, stated, "We organized this symposium to apply various technological advancements to clinical practice," and added, "I am grateful for the continued high level of interest and participation every year."
Chung Heungtae, Chairman of Bumin Hospital, said, "This symposium provided an opportunity for domestic and international experts to share real-world experiences and technologies, and it will serve as a foundation for developing into a global academic platform in the future."
This symposium was organized to share the latest technologies and real-world clinical applications in the field of robot-assisted joint surgery, and to expand academic exchanges with global experts. It provided an opportunity for domestic and international robotic surgery experts to explore future directions for development based on actual surgical experiences and the latest technologies.
