Hyundai Motor Group has been named the most awarded brand for the fourth consecutive year in the "Best Cars for Teens" awards organized by the American news weekly magazine.
On June 3, Hyundai Motor Group announced that it had been selected in 7 out of 12 categories at the Best Cars for Teens awards organized by U.S. News & World Report, including 4 out of 8 new car categories and 3 out of 4 used car categories.
With this achievement, Hyundai Motor Group has earned the honor of having the most models selected among automotive groups at this awards ceremony for four consecutive years. Receiving the Best Cars for Teens award is particularly meaningful, as a positive experience with a first car can lead to long-term loyalty from potential customers.
In the new car category, Hyundai's Avante (marketed as Elantra in the U.S.) was selected as the best car in the $25,000?$30,000 price range, the Tucson as the best SUV in the $25,000?$30,000 price range, and the Tucson Hybrid as the best SUV in the $30,000?$35,000 price range. Kia's Soul was chosen as the best SUV in the $20,000?$25,000 price range.
In the used car category, the 2022 Avante Hybrid was named the best small car, the 2022 Tucson Hybrid the best small SUV, and the 2022 Santa Fe Hybrid the best midsize SUV. Notably, the Hyundai Tucson has been selected as the best SUV in the $25,000?$30,000 price range in the new car category for four consecutive years since 2022.
The Best Cars for Teens are selected based on a comprehensive evaluation of various factors. In the new car category, these include reliability, crash safety, advanced driver assistance systems, and positive reviews from industry experts. In the used car category, models from 2020 to 2022 are evaluated for safety, low maintenance costs, and favorable expert assessments.
