This wage agreement was prepared after the union submitted its negotiation proposal on December 11 last year, followed by a total of three rounds of working-level negotiations. The agreement consists of five main articles and five supplementary provisions.

The main points include: ▲ an increase in the base pay scale ▲ retroactive application of the pay step effective date ▲ separate payment of risk work allowances ▲ and the addition of new occupational groups to the adjustment allowance category. These measures are expected to contribute to improving the working conditions and job satisfaction of public service employees.

The signing ceremony was attended by Hyunguk Park, Bonghwa County Governor, Jongguk Jeon, head of the Bonghwa County Public Service Workers' Union, and representatives from both labor and management, reaffirming their commitment to cooperation based on mutual trust and respect.

Governor Park stated, "This agreement, which actively reflects the voices from the field, will boost the morale of public service employees and enhance organizational stability. Going forward, labor and management will continue to work together to promote county development and improve the welfare of our residents."

Chairman Jeon responded, "I believe this agreement has provided fair compensation for public service employees. Labor and management will make even greater efforts together for the development of Bonghwa County and the happiness of its residents."

Meanwhile, the signing of this wage agreement is seen as an achievement based on responsible attitudes and mutual trust between labor and management, and is expected to play a positive role in establishing a sound labor-management culture in the region.
